Being a mother/parent IS a real job. I know my daughter, an adult now, appreciates to this day the fact I was there when she arrived home from school. We lived in an affluent neighborhood, but some of her friends were latchkey kids, and she felt sorry for them. Theresa's remark may have been stupid. I don't believe she is. As for Kerry/Edwards' campaigning, that IS their job right now. Bush/Cheney have been campaigning for months longer holding invitation-only benefit luncheons and dinners. When Bush isn't campaigning or vacationing, his appearances are remarkably few relative to other presidents. The campaign is over for me. I voted yesterday.
