Catholics must understand that Texas and much of the South thwarted Catholicism. The evangelical Christians of Jones University are not tolerant of the Catholic faith. The Catholics were not allowed to build churches in various parts of Texas until the 1970's. Any idea where the Pope stands on abortion?
