Yes, the have been human H5N1 clusters in Thailand and Vietnam.

In Thailand, the number of infected tigers is getting very close to 100. Last season, in an adjacent zoo, there were only 2 cases.

I expect the number of human cases in Asia to increase dramatically this season and the number of human to human transmissions to also increase.

The possibility of an explosion of cases leading to a world-wide flu pandemic is very real.
