LOL. I received one letter like that from someone in Nigeria a couple of years ago. And I just threw it away. But I heard a couple of years ago, there was a Chinese scholar who worked at Harvard got scammed for >US$600,000 (that idiot actually sent in all those money), and most of those money was from his scam of other Chinese colleagues/students in Harvard by telling them he was going to set up a fund to assist China on SARS. What a mess.
