You said the same thing about reagan

Did I? Where's the post?

BTW....Reagan was very tough on terrorism. He traded arms for hostages and scooted the Marines out of Beirut. He got back at them though...he invaded Grenada.

Michael: These guys will do anything to blame Bush and the Republican party for anyone's problems. They blame Bush for waging war against people that flew bombs right onto our country's WTC. That was an act of war against Al Quaeda. I don't really care to limit the definition of terrorists to Al Quaeda. Saddam was a terrorist too. Whether he was linked to 911 or not, he was an inhumane leader that tortured and killed his own people. He needed to be removed from power.

The basic problem in the Middle East is that the governments encourage people to take the law into their own hands. The lack of central control has created a sense of chaos. Dating all the way back to the days of the Barbary Pirates, Islamic people have been kidnapping and torturing Westerners for economic gain. They have used the press against us to make the liberals feel sorry for their oppressed position. Yikes!!

Actually Greenspan was in charge during Tulipmania.

No Clinton (nor Bush Sr.) policy stood underneath Tulipmania - if you have thoughts to the contrary I would love to hear them.
