I don't consider a needless war at a near term cost of half a trillion dollars "fiscally conservative".

In the end, it will come down to this:

- fiscal conservatives unhappy with the spending, who oppose Bush's foreign policy moves, will probably vote for the other guy
- fiscal conservatives unhappy with the spending, who don't oppose Bush's foreign policy moves, will probably vote for Bush, but cry in their beer or martini.
