I guess I felt your post let Teresa off a little easy. Taking care of kids and the house is hard work. We only have 1 little guy (almost 6) and its a hell of a chore to keep up with him and keep the house up. I have to participate so I'm not speaking as an armchair general. I can't imagine any woman would make such a remark if she had to do the amount of daily work and bs that goes with the job. It sucks - but its worth it. Our government sucks too. They're aren't working for us - they all work for lobbyists. Knowing that and know how they've f*cked up about everything they get their hands on I can't imagine why we'd turn our health care over to them. SS should be done away with over time and people should be force via payroll reduction to put 15.3% of their income into a personal savings account. Why continue to give these dirtballs the power of our money? Lets take care of those who are too far along to benefit from a new system but slowly work our way towards personal SS.
