Man, I think that is WAY low. They were talking 10K civilians... and they were talking about how great they were in their precision attacks, only killing military, limiting civilian casualties.


I don't think that number of 10k was ever just civilians.

So now we are saying civilian / military casualties are a ratio of about 1 to 1?!?

Don't you remember......the Iraqi army mostly defected?

There was a ground war there, there was shock and awe, are we saying we only killed a couple of 1000 Iraqi military? Out of a military of well over 1 million?

What's up with that? It doesn't pass the smell test.


I've never heard anyone say the death toll was much more than 10-20k.

But given your reaction, maybe I am being unfair with my cousin.
