That's about right. I know a number of other Republicans and we talk among ourselves, but out in the general public and at family gatherings you shut up. Or get ostracized. And I'm fortunate. I'm in Silicon Valley with lots of engineers, and engineers tend to be more conservative than the general population.

R~ I wish it wasn't so...but honestly, I think that is happening in many places in the US, including here... Look what Political offices are being targeted...The Repubs...The signs stolen, or damaged, are Bush-Cheney ones. When was the last time you could really converse with any one on the left about anything real and substantial....etc.

These are indeed very scary times.
