The bombings started in March 2003. I thought of the horror of it, night after night after night, day after day of unrelenting explosions. I suspect that PTS has kicked in and the ongoing nightmares ensure it keeps coming in waves. I read that someone who survived 9/11 still suffers from the devastation of that day. It makes me ill. We had a 15 second - although I could have sworn it was two minute - earthquake in SF that really shook me. Some of those who had worked in my building never returned afterwards.

Bush claims he never has any problem falling asleep once his head hits the pillow. And I'm not sure he ever wakes up. Here's hoping his wake up call comes 11/2. Is Canada hoping for bush's defeat?
