I love your thinking, CR. :) I just got home from a dinner/meeting here in Alabama. It's the first time I've been out to anything "political" in about 20 years, and back then I was getting arrested and marching in the streets. People here in Alabama are pumped up about Kerry, and passionate in their belief he will be elected. They know they can't deliver Alabama this time around, but their energy and donations are going out. So all y'all swing-state folks, and people who can help in swing-states, bring it on home! The spirit just amazed me. This meeting was mostly about the judicial elections here, a very big deal. Rove's project of having all Republicans on the seats is near if we don't turn it around.

I took a chair against the wall while people milled until time for to dish up (it was potluck southern style), then this elderly man sat down next to me, both of us in jeans and cowboy boots. He said something, and I looked over, but he was looking away from me as he talked. But... I thought... he's talking to me or to himself, but I should answer. So we got to talking. He thinks Bush should be shipped out of the states. lol. Far far away. Turns out he knows everyone and I ended up meeting judges, the candidate for our Rep seat, and our former governer. They all came to him, and spent time talking with him. Most curious, this masked man.

Alabama is with Kerry all the way, as we fight for our lives here. time to bring it home!
