Hey pal, every smearvet line is taken completely of of context, and that's the absolutely truth. This is just about an AWOl draft-dodging president smearing any real war hero he has to run against. If JK had done anything wrong in 1971 Nixon would have nailed him then. In fact, Nixon investigated JK secretly for four years and didn't come up with a single bit of dirt on him. If you read the testimony and history carefully you'll clearly realize Jk was doing the OPPOSITE of slandering vets, he was defending them from being put into a crazy war with no rules of engagement, which turned all-American guys into people like smearvet gardner who machine-gunned down innocent families. It is very hard to live with yourself after you've killed innocent civilians or been an assasin for the CIA. JK's point was the fault lay at the top, and the the soldiers were just used abused pawns of an evil war out of control that didn't even make sense anymore. And boy was he right about that. smearvets are 100% liars. But if you want to be an evil-doer and support their lies, go ahead. Just remember, Nixcon and colson apologized to JK, and they didn't do anything nearlky as evil as Bush is doing. Bush did it to McCain and Cleland too.
