For the best play on solar energy take a close look at Carmanah Technology, CMH on TSX venture. They have combined solar energy and LEDs to make their lights. They are being used at airports for taxiway and barrier lights, in the water for buoys, bridge and tower markers, transit for bus shelters and bus stops, cross walks for school zones etc etc. They have just announced 3rd Qtr earnings, yes a growth stock with earnings. Their website has several slide shows of their products, spend some time and see who their customers are, US Airforce, US and Canaian coastguards, Chicago and Atlanta transit systems.
