kidl and threadsters, I've received some information from DNN Diamonds North, FYI:

"Thank you for your email. We are at the beginning of a $12 million new cycle. Teck Cominco spent $3 million on Victoria Island and you can expect an update out shortly, kimberlite that was collected from Snow Bunting and King Eider kimberlites (which are larger samples) are expected in the 1st quarter of 05. We did not drill Kidme this year which was a big disappointment to us – Southernera is the operator on that project and that company went through a restructuring which we believe probably delayed the Kidme project by a year. We have talked with Southernera about letting us be the operators on that project, but they insist they will drill the project.

We had $5 million spent by BHP Billiton this year on our Amaruk project, that is the 8 million acre project in Nunavut just west of the Melville peninsula. Kimberlite float was discovered and we hope to have that news out in November. Kennecott spent $1 million on our Anrak project, just south of Amaruk collecting till samples and flying airborne surveys. Diamonds North Resources spent $2 million on what we call our Northern Recon Initiative – this is the project generation aspect of the company. We developed what is now the Amaruk project from our Northern Recon last year. As soon as we have something that we can put in the project stage we will announce it.

I hope this helps, please feel free to contact me if you have any further questions.

Cordially,

Nancy Curry
