These guys are tough..... can you imagine how brave they are to take a person like this into captivity?

'This might be my last hour'
22 October 2004
A British aid chief held hostage in Iraq was seen weeping in distress as she begged not to be killed like Ken Bigley in a new videotape released today by her captors.

Margaret Hassan, director of CARE International in Iraq, was clearly distraught in the grainy footage broadcast on Arab TV station Al-Jazeera.

She said: "Please, please, I beg of you, the British people, to help me.
"I don't want to die like Bigley."

The dual British-Iraqi national, who was born in Dublin, added: "Please help me. This might be my last hour."

Mrs Hassan, who has lived in Iraq for 30 years, was seized by gunmen on Tuesday on her way to work in western Baghdad.
