The NRA are like grown-up little boys who like to play with dangerous toys. Some of them are perfectly safe guys, but others are political and religious extremists, some mentally unstable, some drug addicts, some jealous freaks, others racists. In a word, they are a potentially dangerous soup of extremist leaners who could get a lot of innocent people killed someday. Or not. But remember Timothy McVeigh. He was a pretty harmless looking guy, was in the Army and said "yes sir" and saluted the flag. Bottomline, we need military weapons out of the hands of everyone but the military and a few LE agents.
