So you're the president, what would you have done in August? Start looking for other sources. See if other countries have surpluses. Took steps to find a company to incubate another batch of flu shots asap. In 2001, someone in the current administration complained that our reliance on two vaccine sources was a potential disaster waiting to happen. Apparently, everyone ignored her. And its not surprising......this is an administration that became obsessed with Iraq. That led to an Iraqi tunnel vision and everything else got second or third or fourth billing.
