Columnist Coulter pelted with pies Phoenix, AZ, Oct. 22 (UPI) -- Two men threw custard pies at conservative author and columnist Ann Coulter during her speech at the University of Arizona. The Arizona Daily Wildcat reports Coulter was speaking to a packed house at Centennial Hall, answering questions from the audience Thursday night when the men ran up on stage and threw the pies. They missed her face but, according to police, one of them hit her in the shoulder. Up until the pie-throwing incident, Coulter's speech was uninterrupted, even though a few dozen protesters stood outside with signs. Coulter made light of the situation even after one of the men was taken away in handcuffs. I don't want a girlyman as my pres. I want a real man......a cowboy. Whom did you have in mind? Surely not GWB - George Wanna Be a cowboy. I wonder how many Yale grads have become cowboys? He's still a Yankee carpetbagger from Massa-chews-it. But I will probably vote for him anyway. Anyone who moved FROM Massa-chews-it has to have a bit more sense than someone who stayed there and rotted their brain like JFK - Just Freaky Kerry. The only sensible thing he has done is marry a woman worth $700 million. I have a bit of admiration for that, and envy, to be perfectly honest. At my age and financial condition, I would probably consider it a gift from heaven if I could meet a woman worth $700. - :)
