I wrote GOOG Nov 175 naked calls at 11.90 (implied vol is about 75%), like to live dangerously, pure gambling I would say, so people may not want to try this at home, you can poke an eye playing with such manias. Still the Fed put in two back to back days yesterday and Wed. of permanent injections, and the best they can show for it is a one pony show, and a new high in oil. I can't imagine that even the most ardent Bulls are coming away from today action feeling "OK". Black Monday?
