The bill seems like a stupid thing for the Republicans to do right now...It just hands Kerry a list of items that seem to support his "giveaways to big business" theme. When you get McCain and other fiscal conservatives harping against the bill, (now law) it just makes it look worse. Bush has not vetoed a single spending bill...he could have vetoed this one on some technicality, made a big deal about doing so, then signed an amended version in three weeks.
