"Anyway... I just bought the book by Al Franken... and plan to read it. This keeps me on track as you guys might just convince me of something else."

Yeah, wouldn't want the indoctrination to wear off. Consider it a booster shot. ;-)

Sometimes I hesitate to muddy the waters as I know that someone might just hold my head under.
You don't muddy the water. You introduce a different viewpoint and you do it in a reasonable manner. Sometimes it gets lost that we all live in the same country and it is in all of our best interests to get along. We've had one civil war; we don't need a 2nd.

I believe in open and honest debate and although sometimes I wince at the insinuations like mph this morning about us Floridians not being too intelligent.
After the fiasco there, some of this is inevitable. Can you IMAGINE what would be being said had that happened in CA?

Aging SUCKS. The alternative is worse.

I just bought the book by Al Franken.
Tsk. And I had hope for you. :-)

This keeps me on track as you guys might just convince me of something else.
Oh, we shall try. Believe me, we shall try. :-)

Westera is a good guy. And pretty reasonable.

I don't think Floridians are lacking in intelligence.

I think the Dems think their constituents lack in intelligence<g>

Welcome, btw.............

Hey Suma,

There is no way that Floridians lack intelligence. Otherwise, they would not have elected Jeb Bush. <g>

BTW, I know mph. A good person, but still young. Perhaps, someday she will see things from my perspective.

Welcome to the Laz thread. :-)

Suma

Lucky is correct in his assessment of mph.

Beyond that, take what he has to say with a grain of salt.

He's former olive oil salesman who's fallen on hard times and posts here to occupy his time.

Suma, you can call me all the names you wish. That is typical
of folks who disagree when one side knows they are wrong,
they attack the other person rather than graciously concede
they were wrong &, perish the thought, change their POV to
reflect reality.

Can you find one instance where I have provided false or
misleading info to debunk one of your DNC Talking Points or
one of Michael Moore's complete fabrications?

Can you honestly find one instance where my evidence was
wrong or misleading?
