How do you arrive at THAT, JL?

You are leaping to an unwarranted conclusion.

My post concerned the propriety of arresting peaceable school marms who show up with valid tickets at a campaign rally wearing T-shirts saying: "protect our civil liberties".

(And who don't utter a peep, or disrupt the progress of the rally in any way by actions or words.)

Hard to see anything wrong with defending American freedoms... so my comment about 'Authoritarians' would of course refer to whomever was in charge of that campaign rally, and called cops on the peaceful teachers.

(You aren't claiming that the President was directly responsible for the conduct of campaign workers at the rally, are you? So how could you POSSIBLY arrive at the conclusion that I was claiming "our President hates our freedoms"???????)
