You oversimplify my case when you say,"labeled a liar if at any time in history they declared they thought something was true that turned out not to be true". Firstly, you cannot prove the intent to say the truth for the same reasons that I cannot prove its contrary. So it is pointless to debate the intent. But looking at the actions, I agree with you that one or two or five "mistakes" do not make him a liar. But how many lies do I have to show to make him a liar?
