Clinton added $1.6T to the national debt while he was POTUS- -your number.

The bottom of this page says Bush has added less than $1.6T.

It's also clear that AT NO POINT did Slick decrease the debt, as is often claimed.

You can see that, while growth in GDP leveled off after 911, it is now moving again.

AS, with his insistence on absolute numbers instead of ratio of debt to GDP, is like saying a family making making $5,000 a year with $5,000 in debt is better off than one making $100,000 with $10,000 in debt.
