CB, being 43 years old, maybe I should consider myself fortunate (rather than an aberration), that until this Bush's administration, traditional warfare was apparently becoming a thing of the past. IMHO, future generations should not have to consider enlisting, being drafted, or fulfilling a civil requirement as part of their citizenship. I was too young for the Vietnam draft, and the conflicts since then were swift and conclusive. Somehow, things have change, and it is not just a consequence of 9/11.
