It must be considered that bookmarks to threads include 6-7 years of members that have died, elapsed, financially collapsed ( not insignificant...E-Bubble days), lost interest or otherwise disappeared. My unofficial estimate is that bookmarks to any given long standing thread may be at least cut in half. I have been aware of and done a hugely unscientific evaluation of this probability for a year to arrive at this conclusion FWIW.
