Absolutely. Reagan was the best President of my lifetime Hoorah! Something to agree upon. Reagan was the best of my generation. The last few years have represented a " wake up call" to the population. Unfortunately, some are still hitting the snooze button thinking that when they wake up all will be well with the world. The new reality is that this is the most challenging time in our young history. We can stay the course and defeat the terrorists. Yes, it will cost American lives. Or, we can roll over and hope all is well when the snooze button times out. BTW, since you support technology as a means of preventing war, I assume that you supported the Reagan concept of a Star Wars defense against enemy missiles? I did then, and do now, more than ever.

in the 1984 election time there were also huge numbers of people wringing their hands and decrying the reagan four years. luckily reagan was reelected. there were plenty of reagan detractors until the ussr fell apart and the berlin wall went kaputt. if the aftermath had not been the clear collapse of the ussr and the end of the cold war, reagan would still be reviled by democrats and others who favor larger government attempts at solutions.
