One of the craziest things we ever did was stand by with our fingers up our noses while terrorists cavorted in training camps as free as the birds. I would also say that one of the craziest things we ever did was stand by with our fingers up our noses while genocidal maniacs from Idi Amin to Pol Pot slaughtered millions. And also that one of the craziest things we ever did was prop up homocidal maniacs because they were nominally anti-Communist. It's a crazy world and we've done some crazy things. Killing terrorists is not one of them. It's about time. Way overdue, in fact.
