"I cannot figure out how any informed American would support Bush after such a monumental screwup in Iraq. The country cannot risk another such screwup"

Unfortunately, a "informed" and "american" dont go well in the same statement. We are surrounded by huge oceans on each side and a friendly or a very mellow neighboring countries. We have no incentive, nor any curiosity to know about outside world. We never needed to do much business with the outside world (until now), so we live in blissful ignorance.

I heard on the radio today that some 45% of republicans still believe that there saddam has WMD and that there is a link between Saddam and Al Queda - and this is after Bush acknowledged that after the report came out. Go figure.

Bum.
