I am in the camp that in the 72 before hours there will be
some kind of smear job from Team Kerry, just like Team Gore
pulled in 2000. There's not enough time to adequately rebut
the story before folks go to the polls. And I don't think
Team Kerry or the DNC is much worried about fabricating
something.

Just my pre-election WAG.

"I can't think of any ground that is yet uncovered, any stone that is yet unturned, when it comes to attacking Bush. If they have something up their sleeve they haven't used yet, holding it until the last minute seems stupid. BWDIK?

I can forsee two possible events.

1) The special prosecutor in the Plame/Wilson case announces charges against a WH official.

2) A CIA leak of the special report due out next month.

Our host for dinner (55 year old, college educated, Jewish doctor) tonight told me that he is very frightened that GWB will turn America into a fascist country.

YES......HE REALLY DID.

I replied that GWB has as much chance of turning the USA into a fascist country as Kerry does of turning it into a socialist country.

I told him to go read the Constitution.
