Probably not all that much. But registering to vote is a hassle, and actually showing up and waiting to vote is a drag. If you work, you have to do it early in the morning, or after work. And around here you have to fight traffic, find a parking place, and wait in line.

So, will they vote?

My mother, who is 72, never voted in her life. Her entire life. I printed out the voter registration form and an envelope, because she said she wanted to vote for Bush, so she's finally registered. And I will personally drive her to her polling place so she can vote.
