Kerry is actually ahead of Bush. As recent stories have shown, the pollsters are using 2000-era methods which ignore millions of cel phone users, millions of inner city voters and which concentrate onm "likely" voters who are more conservative stay at home types. This year perhaps 20 million new "unlikely" voters will show up to vote. Much of this is because the country does not want Bush back. Only 36% of Americans say we are on the right track now. We need a new direction fast.

Word from the field is record numbers of college aged voters are going to to polls and they are registering 2.5 to 1 in Kerry's favor. Nader is also not a real factor this time. Scoring less than 1% and not on the ballot in Ohio, the state which will probably decide the election. Kerry is surrently leading in Ohio, a must-win state for both candidates.
