Not one shred of evidence one hair on the head of any POW was harmed by anything Kerry did. On the contrary in fact, Kerry helped save the lives of POW's and worked very hard to do it. Why else would he and McCain become best friends while inspecting the POW camps in the 1980's? If any smearvet charge were true, Nixon, O'Neil and Colson would have creamed JK with it back in the 70's. That alone if proof smearvets are all liars because Nixon invested four years in trying to find dirt on Jk and found nothing. Plus, the POW's were being well-treated by then as they were indeed very valuable bargaining chips. They were not being tortured at all. That was back in the 60's. Finally, if not for Kerry, those same POW's might have sat rotting in their cells longer. Kerry was very influential in pressuring Nixon to end the war sooner, though Nixon sure took his damn time. Why dont the POW's blame the rightwing that prolonged the Vietnam War for years after we all knew it was already lost? Huh? This whole slime campaign doesn't even make any sense.
