Ken,

I hope you will drag out that exercise bike and dust it off and use it. Computers and the internet are great but many of us spend far too much time sitting all day at the computer or watching TV or reading. Then we wonder why we get so many health problems as we age. From what I have read, it seems that we need plenty of exercise and proper diet if we want to avoid problems. I seem to be getting more aware of this every day. I wish I knew more about diet and exercise (and supplements) when I was younger but it’s never too late to get serious.

It’s fun to be on the computer but I am trying to limit my sessions to about an hour on the computer several times per day instead of long sessions sitting here. I try to sit up straight when I sit here to avoid back problems. I walk 2 or 3 miles per day plus some light exercises with weights. Fortunately I live where I can get outside nearly every day (SF Bay Area).

Would you care to say why you day trade a couple days per week? I don’t mean to ask too personal a question but I just wonder if you do it more for fun and the challenge or do you actually make reasonable income or what. I tried a little of that when I first retired but I quickly found that was too much bookkeeping and tax complications and too much of my time etc. Now I mostly hold a lot of good value stocks plus a few mutual funds and some ETF's and iShares. I only make one or two trades a month on average. I think I am well diversified in the market.

Best wishes
