Christian Values from my perspective: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.(only if they do bad to you give it bad back more ) When smitten on the right cheek, turn to him who smit you the other. (hey I like an eye for an eye better ) Thy shall not kill.( except in war ) Honesty is the best policy and hold it dearly.( except when on can make a profit ) The meek shall inherit the earth.( except when it comes to our being the best and on top ) This is God's earth and every living thing in it.(unless it doesn't fit into the scheme of things ) To err is to be human. (never admit a mistake ) Forgive those that trespass against you. (that would be crazy) Love thy neighbor as thyself.(what if he's gay ) It is better to give than to receive. ( depends on what you mean by giving) Judge not least ye be judged.. (not worried about that as I am always right ) I just wonder how many of the above tenants those in charge of our government adhere to. I wonder how many professed religious priests, rabbi's,ministers,reverends and TV Evangelists adhere to these tenants.... The word Christian is a mockery to the Jesus who embodied SOME of the things I mention here. Christan Values...? What are they ?
