JK was only with the VVAW for about two months. Just time enough for two or three events. Then, as the records prove, he moved on, thinking them too radical for his tastes. The VVAW called him a "conservative". the FBi called JK a "moderate". Take your pick. He was also a major war hero and spoke the truth. Amazing young man. So impressive he even got Nixon worried. Very worried. Nixon became obsessed with Kerry and assigned his dirty tricks team to find dirt on him. After four years, they found zero. Nothing. Before he died, Nixon apologized to Kerry, as did dirty tricks head and smearvet O'Neill recruiter Charles Colson, from prison where he and all the smear artists belong. Smearing our war heros is really EVIL stuff.
