Well maybe that is true or maybe life under Saddam just was not all that unbearable under his regime They have found many tens of thousands of dead in mass graves already, and the total estimates are in the hundreds of thousands. You sound like someone trying to claim that life under Nazi Germany was not that bad - in 1945, after they found the concentration camps. Just how many dead bodies would it take to convince you? I seriously doubt that old canard that Saddam was paying 25K (or was it 30K or 35K or 20k to the families???) [of suicide bombers] is valid. Canard? What the hell are you talking about? The $25,000 was paid in PUBLIC CEREMONIES in front of the media, with full credit claimed and given. You want the links, I'll find them for you. The Palestinians loved Saddam for it. Does evidence even matter to you?
