The GOP is the one trying to stop blacks from voting.
All that garbage about Dems "taking blacks for granted" ignores the fact that blacks have a real say in the Dem party and share leadership. In the GOP you have a few token black faces and that's it. Also, the GOP is the party which went for a "southern strategy" in the 70's trying to attract George Wallace voters into the new, more racist GOP.
