I don't think copper is being stored by specs in warehouses. In fact I'd hazard a bet that even user stocks held outside of LME and Comex are very low right now, and probably aren't sufficient for normal needs. The big sell-off in copper was caused by a mere 7000 MT add, hardly anything in the scheme of things. Took about a week to chew through that.
