As to what is right or wrong it depends on the country economic interest ... after all wars do not start out of charity or ideals it is all about economics and power to dictate resource alocation

you'll get no argument out of me, but it doesn't make it right.

((As to what is right or wrong it depends on the country economic interest.))

Haim. While I appreciate this is the view of the geopolitician, are you really that cynical? Is the morality of the holocaust dependent on whose economic self-interest you consider? After all, it was significantly done in the economic self-interest of xenophobic members of the German tribe.

If right or wrong is merely a matter of economic self interest and is not answerable whatsoever to a higher moral plane, then I'm not sure the human species deserves to survive the next global war of the human tribes.

Re: the Clinton administration etc., you're absolutely right, Imperialism is Imperialism is Imperialism. It's all built on the same moral foundation of the right (even the divine right) of the strong to exploit the weak.

I choose to aspire to a better world. But morality and justice, like charity, begins at home.

Best,
Glenn
