Even if they remember how poorly Bush behaved, they're now buying the spin that though Bush completely failed to act pre-emptively to stop this. to have failsafes in place should ONE plane go off course, he and the WH simply stood buy and watched. We haven't been attacked since, NOT because Bush has done anything right, but because NO ONE HAS attacked. Oh, wait, there were the anthrax attacks. They haven't found the perp in that case either. We're even more vulnerable now. And after three years of so-called CIA/FBI fixes, the head of the CIA quit. Bush said "I fear for this country" during the debate. OF COURSE HE DOES, because he's president.
