I mean, he's no rocket scientist, but he understands the game, and whose master he's serving IMO" Actually I do not think Bush is stupid or slow. I think Bush is a very poor public speaker and not a quick wit. He is a reflective thinker, and on many issues I have found he reached a conclusion that I think is correct. Invading Iraq does not happen to be one of those -g- My point with Bush is that I just don't think he could pull it off in public. And if he could, well he is the greatest actor the world has ever seen. Regarding reporters and "truth", why is Ruppert still alive? How could he get a book like his in print, with "Enemy of the State" type power bearing down on him? Some Woodward or Bernstein would roll the dice for a place in journalism history. I can't think of a bigger story. If there is any truth to this, then it will be from a small group on the fringe of our government assisting Bin Laden and "killing with anothers hand". I will keep an open mind, but I have not yet seen facts that lead me to believe this is anything but the work of some backwards nutjobs. I agree that there was much advance knowledge of 9/11. It is very clear that someone bought unusual amounts of poots on the two airlines. This is not proof that anyone in our government had knowledge of the event. If anything, there probably was a great deal of knowledge of the 9/11 event, but the embarrassment from failing to act is the real reason that information is withheld. And the identity of those shorting the airlines is probably also something the government wants to keep hidden. Probably want to keep good relations with the Saudis or ?. I will read the book and and then revisit this topic with you. Thanks TH
