Leaders have the ability to mislead human beings to do horrible deeds. This is a flaw with human beings. There's a cautionary note that history asks people to remember here - followers should not blindly follow their leaders, because leaders can do absolutely horrible and murderous things. bin Laden is the leader. His followers are mislead to do wrong murderous deeds. Just like Hitler mislead his followers to do murders. It's important to realize how easily it is for a large population of humans (of any race, any diversity) to be mislead by a leader.
