Gen. Hussein Kamel gave extensive interviews to the CIA about the weapons in 1996. The CIA, under Cheney's edits, reported all about the weapons he mentioned, he was their major source. Cheney left off the part where he explained where and when they were destroyed.

While some officials may be able to claim that they didnot see the evidence of the weapons destruction, it was certainly available to administration's decision makers even if it was edited out of the copies given to Junior.
