Perhaps you can explain it to me in simple terms because I don't get it. "and here ......." Given that we are a nation of 290,000,000 people, only 7,000,000 of whom are muslims (and the vast majority of whom are VERY law abiding citizens), that we have the world's largest and most advanced military, and that we have 10,000 nuclear weapons at our disposal, how can "radical Islamic crazies" prevail here? Please be specific. I will address the issue of "radical Islamic crazies" prevailing in the middle east after you have responded to this post.
