And I guarantee you that he [Kerry] will let the Iranians get Nukes.

I'm not so sure anyone will prevent the Iranians from getting such weapons. From a practical standpoint, Iranian acquisition of nukes is probably impossible to prevent.

They have learned from Saddam's experience and will protect their facilities.

They are unlikely to be so dysfunctional as to indiscriminately fire them on the Israelis since Israeli retaliation would mean the end of Iran. Any use by Iranian terrorists on America would mean the same result.

And also note that there are deep religious divides between the Iranians and the mostly Wahabbi IslamoWacos, a division which the Bush administration I think is trying to exploit to some extent in Iraq.

I think like most countries, Iran will use its nukes as a deterrent. While no one wants them to have them, I really don't see how, absent an unthinkable full scale invasion of Iran and/or the use of nuclear bunker busters, the prospect of nuclear weapons in Iranian hands can be avoided.

I guarantee you that Kerry will not allow the Iranians get nuclear weapons. Not only that, he will do it in a way, the whole rational world will be with us (the global test).

It's like in a family with strong leaders. Sure the kids get to vote. Sure the kids think they are making the decisions, but you can make sure they aren't going to do anything the parents do not approve and have steered the kids in the direction the parents have already decided.

Kerry is going to back off on all attempts to get Arab Governments to change their ways. His "cycle of violence" and "peace process" comments are code words that he will weaken our defense of Israel in order to accomodate the French and Germans.

Don't kid yourself. The French and Germans have the same problems with the Arabs we have if not more. Just as only Richard Nixon could have opened up China, only John Kerry will be able to give Israel real security.
