Yep, I don't think he ever said the words "mission accomplished". however, despite what the white house says regaurding the mission accomplished banner being only for that ship, Bush did announce in his own words that major combat operations in Iraq had ended and he was wrong....

Weren't you the one boasting in early October about the stock markets predicting a Bush victory because they were up? At that time I cautioned you that October had just started. How things change eh? The DOW has hit a NEW LOW FOR 2004 with only 4 trading days to go. Care to tell us what that predicts now? <g>
