Man, your selective memory lays all to rest. If any US company, ever, desired to work with the only government of Iraq, why, naturally, that is the US being "in cahoots" with Saddam and thus is the only responsible party for his crimes.

Well if we're going to be responsibile for Saddams crimes, I guess that makes us responsible for getting rid of him too - you did want to get rid of him, didn't you?

So why were you so unhappy when the US got rid of him?

You seem to like the US to be friends with dictators so that you can rail at the US (never the dictators) without confusion.

If we ever had any intention of seizing the Iraqi oil we would have done it by now. We didn't do it.
