Its not a rant, just plain facts and common sense.

The US has 4% of the population; China has 1/3. India has 1/3. 1/2 of the rest of the world is developed; the other half is less so.

The US uses 1/4 of world energy, today. China uses proportionately a lot less, but it is changing that, quickly. They "want in" too.

If your belief is that the one true way for America is to dominate control of as much of the world oil supply as possible, using whatever means neccessary, then your "to the victor go the spoils" is exactly the right theme for you and you should be far more blunt in stating your opinions.

Allow me to paraphrase what I read in your writing - a new open manifesto for carranza2 "C2@tothevictorsgothespoils.com":

1. You could care less about other country's peoples, all you really want is their resources. Without any strings. Ideally without payment too.

2. Stability in the Middle East to you only means stability of oil supply to the US. The rest is irrelevant stuff the press and public will fawn over. You want wells and pipelines and delivery. A puppet government will do, we'll supply the troops. You supply the plastic explosives!

3. You see nothing wrong with continuing to suck on the teat of oil as long as the US has overpowering military might. Developing alternatives is for wussies. If it takes an invasion here or there to justify the river contiues to run - no problem.

Sound about right? Just be blunt about your opinions.
