When I asked IR about the value of the coal, they speculated anywhere from $100-250 million dollars which is a rediculous multiple on the entire market cap for SN. Even if they sold a majority interest in the property for only $25 million it would probably be worth triple the shareprice at the time just in cash. There is no question the company has value to be unlocked. From my discussion with Ian Rozier earlier in the year the properties are close to infrastructure and there are other coal properties in production in the area. The only potential issues I have with the properties is that there is a history of land claim disputes in that part of Australia, much like the aboriginal land claims affecting many mineral claims in Canada.

The $64,000 question is can management swing a deal that will generate a windfall for shareholders?

cheers!
